Financial Fairness

This is our second online petition and motto to practise joined-up thinking and find missing links:

  • between taxpayers who have suffered from “the system”, whether before the crisis or since it began
  • between voters and their MPs, who may not realize how many of their constituents are suffering
  • across MPs from all parties, so that they may initiate appropriate changes in the law
  • with members of the Treasury Select Committee, who have not heard much evidence from the general public, let alone sufferers of either the crisis or of institutions
  • with Ministers who are intending to help crisis victims financially.

As next steps,

  • you are invited to get record details of your case recorded, on a private blog; please email
  • we endeavour to group cases so that collective complaints can be used to change the law – as it was done in the 15th century, according to Lord Sudeley
  • you are encouraged to inform your MP and request a meeting with him/her to support you
  • you are encouraged to sign the Stop the Cash Crumble or Financial Fairness petition, so that you become part of a mailing list.

To contact your MP, please go to WriteToThem.
